As the project management team of the Cancer Research Center Cologne Essen, we are happy to help with any questions you may have.

Together we work on the following tasks of the CCCE and the nominated NCT West:
- Scientific project management and project coordination
- Supervision and support of the CCCE and NCT research groups
- Local networking locally at the Essen and Cologne campus, and nationwide with the existing and the other nominated NCT sites
- Interface functions in collaboration with the grant provider and the project sponsor
- Preparation of cooperation agreements and decision documents
- Organization and implementation of working and strategy meetings of the project partners and other events
- Coordination of building and space matters concerning NCT
- Coordination, content-related and editorial assistance in internal and external communication in cooperation with the responsible departments
- Content-related and administrative support of the patient representatives

Wibke Bomholt, M.A.
Coordinator of Collaboration and Reporting WTZ Essen
Project Management Campus Essen
She is a trained occupational therapist and health systems manager. Wibke Bomholt has been the contact at WTZ Essen for all questions on collaborations since 2017 and is also responsible for reporting activities relating to trials and external funding. She has been part of the project management team since January 2021.
Nicole Jörns
Project Management Campus Cologne
Since 2007, she has been employed as a project assistant in various projects of the Clinic I for Internal Medicine and has also accompanied and coordinated the application and processing of various large applications. She has been working for the project team since March 2021.

Project Management Campus Cologne
Since graduating in biology with a focus on genetics, she has been working in hemato-oncological research with a main interest in B-cell lymphomas. She joined the project management team at the Cologne site in July 2022.
Dr. rer. nat. Paul Rodermund
Project Management Campus Essen
In the course of his PhD in neuroscience and behavioral sciences, he investigated in particular the neural basis of working memory. Since April 2020, he has been working for the project management at the campus Essen.
Marina Schiller, M.Sc
Project Management Campus Essen
After studying biology with a focus on genetic biodiversity, she organized marine biological excursions and seminars worldwide as a project manager. After in-depth further training in classical and agile management methods, among others, she has been part of the team since May 2021.
